Please go to the National Institute for Literacy website and see the
chart about the DAR that was developed for teachers of adult reading.
If you have further questions about the DAR, you can write an e-mail and
get a personal response. www.nifl.gov/readingprofiles/MC_Test_Bank.htm

Hello Everyone:

Instructors at our agency have inquired about the DAR (Diagnostic
Assessment of Reading) as a diagnostic tool to supplement instruction.
Has anyone used this tool for adult literacy?

Any information, or any experiences you have had with this instrument,
will be most helpful.

Thank you.
