[Assessment] Best in Class Assessments?

Hi,
Maryland requires the CASAS reading assessment .
I have used the QRI-3 by Leslie and Caldwell with a few adults. It has
been useful in identifying automatic word recognition, fluency, and
comprehension needs - as well as approximate reading level.
Some teachers have used the Be a Better Reader diagnostics from Globe
Fearon to assist upper level readers.

Hi all.
I'm taking a reading assessment class for K-12 teachers and have
been asked to bring a list of the adult reading assessments, formal and
informal.

What are folks using out there these days? I know the TABE is most
common,
but I'm sure there are some great standbys I've not seen out there I'd
love
to know about.

Thanks!
