There is an entire chapter of the publication "Improving Performance,
Reporting Results" devoted to using the EFF Read wth Understanding
standard and performance continuum to develop instructional (classroom)
assessments. You can find the PDF version of this publication in the
Assessment Resource Collection by clicking on "assessment tools" and
then clicking on the title.
 
Many thanks to Aaron for pointing out the resource from the
Teaching/Learning Toolkit -- there are other examples there as well that
are worth exploring!
