All It was heartening, too, at the Centre for Literacy's ESL/Literacy Institute, this past June, to hear more about what we might (or might not) see as something of a revival of all of this - work from the US and Canada, but also from the UK's National Research and Development Centre for Adult Literacy and Numeracy - http://www.nrdc.org.uk/index.asp - a LOT of stuff - including many downloadable documents on ESOL, literacy, workplace stuff and other related pieces. You're probably also aware of a number of resources from Canada, New Zealand and elsewhere - some of which are gathered here: http://www.brown.edu/lrri/work.html Janet Isserlis > From: Carolyn Dieleman <Carolyn.Dieleman at gov.ab.ca> > Reply-To: The Workplace Literacy Discussion List <workplace at nifl.gov> > Date: Tue, 16 Sep 2008 18:23:52 -0600 > To: "lloyd_david at creativeworkplacelearning.org" > <lloyd_david at creativeworkplacelearning.org>, The Workplace Literacy Discussion > List <workplace at nifl.gov> > Conversation: [Workplace 1599] Re: Evaluations of > NationalWorkplaceLiteracyProgramprojects > Subject: [Workplace 1600] Re: Evaluations of > NationalWorkplaceLiteracyProgramprojects > > I, too, was involved in what I call the 'hay days' of workplace literacy, > Lloyd.
